Related Posts with ThumbnailsHappy Friday! It's not just any Friday; it's the Friday before a glorious 3 day weekend! Heck Yah!
This weekend will include, but not limited to: House projects (pictures later!), dog walking, bike riding, brunch, BBQ, pedicures, gelato, designing the new line of necklaces, and some beer drinking after a long day of house work/projects.
I hope you all have fun relaxing and doing what makes you happy.
Cheers!

Penthouse Suite

Related Posts with ThumbnailsI've always wanted to stay in a penthouse suite. One day when I am super rich, perhaps. Until then, I'll have to settle for this little gem that Corey found called the ECamper. It is flipping awesome! We camp alot and originally purchased our Honda Element in hopes to camp year round, but sleeping on the inside isn't as comfortable as the tent. Even for a couple of shorties like us.

Hopefully, if we can save up, in September we'll make the journey south to get this bad boy installed.
Here is more info on the company and the ECamper itself: http://www.ursaminorvehicles.com/camper.htm

Polaroid love

Guess who just scored a Polaroid Camera? That's right-this gal!
Then, the voice of my Mom popped in my head. "Don't mess around with the camera, kids. The film costs and arm and a leg."
As kids, playing with the Polaroid camera was forbidden. I remember it was brought out for birthdays and holidays. Waiting for the photo to develop was magical. Maybe that is why I bought one for myself to tinker with.

Honestly, I think I must have been inspired by BomoBob on Etsy who has an amazing shop full of colorful, ethereal, and fun photos.  I am totally looking forward to playing around with my new toy once the sun comes back to Portland.
Here is a little somethin' somethin' from said Bomo Bob's Shop :

New Line in the Works!

photo courtesy of The Gem Bee

Related Posts with ThumbnailsI am so giddy about the new line that is in the works. I can not wait to show it to you all.
Finally, I found a way to use all of the silk thread remnants and these super fancy luxe gems that I recently purchased. It's a simple style that is sure to turn heads and I haven't seen anything like it before.

I'll be sure to post photos here first so you can check them out before they are in the store.
In the meantime, what are your favorite stones? My favorite at the moment is Moss Aquamarine (above).

Monday

Happy Monday!

Related Posts with ThumbnailsI hope you all had a restful weekend! I sure did. I rested, walked and celebrated a little more than I had planned on, but feel pretty refreshed for it being a Monday.

I have a ton of new items to list, that was on the to-do list for this weekend but with the sunshine, I got a tad distracted. I hope you will forgive me. to make up for it, I plan to list all of the new pretties this week, so stay tuned in to the shop for the newbies.

Speaking of lists-one thing you should put on your list for this Saturday is the Kenton Street Fair!

Happy Sunny Weekend

Related Posts with ThumbnailsIt's going to be a fabulous sunny weekend here in Portland! Yesterday was the warmest day that we've had all year! I'll be hitting the Alberta Art Hop this weekend and celebrating a  few birthdays. What are you up to? If you are in Portland, check out the Alberta Art Hop, it's pretty spectacular.

ELFA Organizers via The Container Store

Photo from DesignMom.com
Related Posts with ThumbnailsI've been itching to reorganize my studio at home (aka the craft room) and perused the internets looking for inspiration. I stumbled upon an old friend: The Container Store which was my vice at one point in time. I love organizing and packing-maybe I was a squirrel in a past life.

What does your work space look like? I'd love any ideas and see your inspiration.

Big Thanks

It really means alot! Thank you!!

Portland Saturday Market

Related Posts with ThumbnailsIt had been way too long since I had visited the Portland Saturday Market. Luckily a couple of friends dragged me out of the house and we chcked out the new digs on the Waterfront. I like that half of it is still in the old spot though. One of my favorite things that I found was this amazing painter, Dottie Dracos. She creates the most colorful and perfect paintings of animals.
I was drawn to one piece in particular; a painting of a pug that looked almost exactly like our dog:
I couldn't help but chuckle at this piece. He makes the same head tilt when you mention 'walk' or 'treat' around him. You really must check out her site. I'm sure you'll find the perfect gift for Mother's Day, plus she's local!
