ELFA Organizers via The Container Store

Photo from DesignMom.com
Related Posts with ThumbnailsI've been itching to reorganize my studio at home (aka the craft room) and perused the internets looking for inspiration. I stumbled upon an old friend: The Container Store which was my vice at one point in time. I love organizing and packing-maybe I was a squirrel in a past life.

What does your work space look like? I'd love any ideas and see your inspiration.

Big Thanks

It really means alot! Thank you!!

Portland Saturday Market

Related Posts with ThumbnailsIt had been way too long since I had visited the Portland Saturday Market. Luckily a couple of friends dragged me out of the house and we chcked out the new digs on the Waterfront. I like that half of it is still in the old spot though. One of my favorite things that I found was this amazing painter, Dottie Dracos. She creates the most colorful and perfect paintings of animals.
I was drawn to one piece in particular; a painting of a pug that looked almost exactly like our dog:
I couldn't help but chuckle at this piece. He makes the same head tilt when you mention 'walk' or 'treat' around him. You really must check out her site. I'm sure you'll find the perfect gift for Mother's Day, plus she's local!

Friday

Back Home

Related Posts with ThumbnailsHappy Friday everyone!
I'm back in full effect and ready to crank out some new designs. Stay tuned this weekend for new designs to be listed in the shop, and the return of a few best sellers.
In the meantime, here are a few photos from our trip to Maui:

Have a great weekend!

Aloha

My bestest friend and I are off to tropical paradise. I'm kind of jealous of all of my fellow Portland residents, though as it is going to be a lovely and sunny 70 degrees all weekend.
I ran across these photos on the web and they were the perfect inspiration I needed to pack:

Pretty in Pink?

Misha Ashton's "Green Blossom" print
Related Posts with ThumbnailsLast weekend was my birthday and I was gifted a really pretty light salmon colored striped scarf. Which, I love and have worn a few times already (Thanks Jen!).
I remember earlier in the evening stating that I hated the color pink and that got me thinking.  I don't really hate pink, it's just not my favorite color list, and I just never gave it a chance. I think that the negative feelings towards this hue stems from this particular fluffy and very pink hand-me-down coat I was forced to wear as a kid. Trust me, it was not pretty.
In summary, Pink isn;t so bad. I hearby retract my statement. Just look at all of the pretty pink items I found on Etsy!

Monday

Happy Monday!
