This Memorial Day weekend the Mister and I got our house projects completed and celebrated with beer. Lots of beer. Work hard and play harder, is what I always say!
One of this things I love most about Portland is the numerous fun places that serve all sorts of different beer.
Prost for instance, serves just about any decent (and delicious)German bier. I do love me some German beer.
One new place we found was
Saraveza over off of Killingsworth in North Portland. I love the feeling this place evokes. You feel like you are at your Grandparent's home, with the from scratch grub, good service, and good juju. Whether you want the hoppiest of hoppy, sourest of ciders or a good wheat beer, Saraveza has you covered. They also have Hamms, in case you like to keep it real.
