Juicin' and Juicin' and Juicing it well

The Mr. and I procured a juicer recently and have been relishing in the crazy mix of fruits and veggies we can have with our meals. It really is a ton of fun to load up a whole grocery cart full of gorgeous produce. Even better is the smell of the car on the way home-yesterday it smelled like apples during the rush hour commute.
The above picture is of our breakfast! How cool is that?! We also added some lemon, ginger and additional fruit to help balance the earthiness of the beet goodness. The juice itself turned out to be this really pretty ruby color.

Music Monday- The Bees "Winter Rose"

I have been a fan of The Bees for many years now and when I heard this song, I was so excited to find out they have a new album. Heck Yeah!

I sure do hope you like them as much as I do.
Have a great week!

I'd like to introduce you to a recent discovery that is sure to warm your heart. Phame Academy is a wonderful non-profit organization here in Portland that supports and enhances the development of skills and self-esteem in adults with developmental disabilities through education and participation in the fine and performing arts.

Take a gander at the Sparkle Moments- videos that are amazing and give you a little background on of the students.

I'm so thankful that Lara from Blend Coffee Lounge had told me about this organization. Right now you can donate through Willamette Week's Give Guide, which is super easy, or directly through The PHAME Website.

Happy Holidays!
